Hi KarenScearce.

I just emailed a reply to your question that you sent through the freePatternWizard but I'll answer this question too here in the Community.

I've used my iPhone to send the freePatternWizard both a picture taken on the phone and one saved in my Camera Roll that came from somewhere else and was able to create a chart from both.

I've also used my iPhone to crop images before sending them.  With the iPhone cropping feature you can also change the dimensions of the image.

Be sure to set the freePatternWizard "stitches across" count to what you want.  Depending on whether or not you've subscribed to one of the Premier features, you can go up to 150, 300, or 500 stitches across.

This version does not currently allow a "stitches down" setting but that's coming soon.

Hi.

Hmm.  That message can mean a few things.  In case it's an issue that I need to address in the program, could you please let me know your iPhone model and iOS version?

As I always say, I want to look into it anytime someone has a problem to see if it's something I can allow for in the program.  I've had a couple times in the past that someone had a problem and we found that the manufacturer was changing the format slightly and causing an error on our end.  Once I got details, I added compatibility in the program and everything then worked with the new format.

So please let me know your iPhone model and iOS version.  Thanks.
