Charlene,

It just popped into my head that it would make a really interesting skirt as well.
Now, that is absolutely
ingenious
! You're so right...it would be perfect...no need for armholes...and something interesting (but not too interesting) for the waistband as a finishing touch.

Charlene,
Thank you for linking to this incredible designer's site! OMG...is that Latticework Jacket more drooling material, or what?! I love it from
every
angle - found it in the Gallery and haven't stopped salivating since.

She's very talented. We reap the benefit of that.

We sure do!
You know, something else I noticed...she's not afraid to use color. I love that! It makes a design more appealing to me, to see it in an especially bold, eye-catching color. That's something else I love about the Latticework Jacket. In a color like beige, it would be pretty, but the pink
really
makes it stand out!

Good point. The pattern could stand alone even in white, but vivid colors enhance it.

It would take some thought and planning, but I don't see why that wouldn't work also. I think for myself, I would do the back and the front, but your idea is excellent.Charlene

Ooops! When I said "other side", I meant the other side of the front. In other words, the left front. I think it's the right front that's curved, isn't it?Marilyn

I wondered how it would turn out if you were to leave off the last increase on the curved piece so it wouldn't be quite so wide, and then make another piece just like it for the other side. Something I may ponder sometime.
