Melanie,
Yeah.. but they have the attentionspan of a goldfish.. it would take me tale same amount of time to teach them, as it would for me to just make the blanket :p hava..

Line,
Completely understand...no kids (that I know of, LOL), but a husband is pretty much the same...short attention span.
Even if it takes a while, though, if you teach them, then they can have the knowledge in the future to make the blankets for themselves...you know, I'm doing this with the cat...talk about short attention spans!
I figure in no time, she'll be working on my WIPs, leaving me free to do other things.
For some reason, that works in theory, but not in reality. We haven't gotten beyond sniffing the hook, which I technically didn't think was part of crocheting, but seems like she's teaching me instead.
LOL. Maybe then I'll be working on her WIPs...waaaaaait, just a minute!
Talk about one smart kitty!

Between the piggies and the dog, I'd say the dog could probably make a lot more progress. Her paws are bigger!
Piggy paws are just too tiny...well, unless you want a lot of socks, because then they'd probably excel at that! LOL!

Line,
So with you there...sounds like a plan!
With the piggies working together, you ought to get a pair or three of socks per month!
