Hi everyone

I have used stitchboard pattern maker for ages and have only just joined up. Despite doing all the things I did before, the patterns are not turning out at all. I uploaded a png two colour picture and the generated pattern was completely pink! Yet there were about 9 colours listed below in code. I have tried all kinds of adjustments but to no avail. I have tried several other pictures too but it's no good. Feeling blue Sad

Hello, glad you finally joined. I've had the same issue in the past, if I remember correctly, I converted it to a different format and that fixed the issue.

Because my brain doesn't always work right, I haven't saved it and reported it to support.

I've alerted Terry (Support) and will have him chime in, but in the meantime, have you tried Sherry's suggestion of a different format? No worries, we'll get to the bottom of this!

Hi. Sorry about the delay in answering!

There are quite a few variables depending on your settings. For example, brightness and contrast settings can greatly affect the resulting chart. Also a few of the special effects can introduce new colors or reduce the number selected.

I'd be happy to look into this. If you wouldn't mind emailing your image to me along with your settings, I'll do some testing and get back to you with suggestions.
