hello, im new to this site but have been doing cross stitching on and off since i was a child, im mostly joining to motivate myself to finish a gift for my mothers birthday :^)

What are you making for your mother's birthday? I'm sure she'll love whatever it is...handmade gifts are always the best, IMO!
Is it a large project and you're feeling particularly daunted? Have been there, done that before, so I can relate!

it's nothing to difficult luckily
she is very fond of simplistic cross stiching because it remindes her of grandma, so im going to make some flowers that i remember grandma used to have in her garden and frame it :^)
im atm planing a design of a purple garden lupin

Flowers always look good and the colors are amazing to work with!
And purple...does it get any better? (LOL, not that I'm partial to purple or anything.
