I want to make a scarf that is 245 stitches long and 25 stitches high how do I do that?
Look at that smile! (Photo guaranteed unretouched)

You'll need to adjust your image. If you discover it's truncating at the bottom, you'll have to add borders to your image to compensate for the extra space on the left and right. Your image must be wide for the 245 stitches and it must be of shallow depth so the program will adjust the number of stitches accordingly. The reason you can't pick a length of 25 is because your image would skew too much.
Also remember that the program can only give you back what you have. If you're running a photo through that's 4 inches by 6 inches, that's not going to give you the result you want. You'll have to keep experimenting until you end up with an extra-wide and not very high image before you even run it through the freePatternWizard.
