Neave,
LOL, but I guess you weren't really without your own mirth about it!
Best spot to be in!

Neave,
I'd do the same! Yuck, some people are just not worth the effort of being nice to them...and many of those are the same ones who will say, "But we're family!" Well, that doesn't give someone the right to be a jerk. If they can't be reasonable and lose the attitude, tough! They deserve to be treated the way they treat others. And better still if you can laugh at them!

Neave,
Well, she sounds like a nasty piece of work. Some people have a lot of gall. It's even worse when they're "family"!

Neave,
Absolutely agree! It's why I cherish my friends...because they're good people...I think of many of them as family.

Neave,
Absolutely! People always act as if the family is somehow "sacred." There's nothing sacred about family. Family can be the most toxic people of all.

Neave,
Ugh, I completely agree! Family really can be your worst enemy. That "sacred" family crap is so ridiculous! People completely forget about how vulnerable people are when it comes to family. Their guard is generally down and loving, positive feelings for family can lead to a mess.
