I'm starting my first graphgan soon, I have my pattern and my wool and I'm going to be using sc. Do you have any tips for me? I'd really appreciate any help. Thanks.

Welcome!  Smile

My biggest suggestion would be to do a couple of smaller practice pieces first.  I know...it's so tempting to start some big project without practicing!  But I think working some smaller practice pieces will get you accustomed to working from a graph.  It's the kind of thing I did when first learning bead crochet; I wanted to make plenty of projects!  I wasn't used to holding something like beads while crocheting, and felt so clumsy.  What really helped was to do the bead crochet with yarn and pony beads, rather than thread and glass beads.  It meant taking time out from the projects I had in mind, but it was well worth the extra time taken, where I was then used to holding beads while crocheting!  Smile

Thanks Melanie for the advice you gave twintrza.... I have my yarn now and am chomping at the bit to start my first graphgan...but thought I ought to look into the whole process a bit first. Glad I did. I would have been cutting and joining colours an gazillion times, but now know to make myself some bobbins with yarn etc. I will take the above nugget of advice and do a simple practice graphgan to get my head around the process. Like I said the other day in the comments to my question...don't hold your breath waiting Hhahaha!Laughing
