Melanie,
Pheeew... 4 exams down. 2 to go.
Just took my Danish exam today.. I had to analyse a fairy tale by H. C. Andersen.. Exactly what I wanted to do..
Got an A for it.. So I am very very pleased with myself.
Next one: Social sience on the 18th
And then I just realised: Only 22 days until out move
YAY

Line,
WOO HOO! CONGRATS!
Doing the happy dance for you!
I hope you don't have to take any more classes with that Danish teacher? Glad that despite your dislike for him all worked out well.
Argh, isn't that usually the way with at least one professor? It's such a pain to deal with someone who is hard to get along with, and even worse that you're entirely dependent upon that person for your grade...but the best part is...you did it!
You have every right to be totally thrilled...fantastic accomplishment!

Melanie,
I wil never have to deal with him again..
First of all he is old (64).
And second of all he is leaving for good this summer, so he wont teach again (because of his age)..
I am sooooo happy..

Line,
That's even better news!
Soooo glad you'll be able to deal with someone better from now on. Getting an education is hard enough without having to deal with a difficult professor. Anyway, you should definitely be proud that in spite of dealing with him, you still did well.
Quite an accomplishment!

Melanie,
I am very happy with my self..
I am actually not sure if I will ever have to have Danish again in schooll.. I have it now on A-level, and that is the highest you can get... So I am not sure if my new school will teach in it?
I hope not..
17 days left until our move
Yay..

Line,
Wow, it sounds like English for us...we take the subject for years and years and much later on we can go without it. In college, I think there were only a couple of requirements, and then it was done!
Yippee!
I remember this part...the waiting was agonizing and exhilarating at the same time, especially as the date got closer.

Melanie,
We can get all our classes on level A (the highest).. Once you have taken these classes on A-level, you cannot take them again.. So hopefully I will not have to take them in the new school.. Some people who goes there now say that they have danish lessons, but not in the same way as I have now.. Fingers crossed here..
Can't wait to get the letter that says if I am accepted on the study or not.. I'll first get an answer on July 30th. Such a long time to wait :/
15 days left until we move now.. o.O

Line,
Glad there's little chance you'll have to take the same class again.
What a drag that would be! Is it similar to our process of transferring to a new school...the new school decides what will transfer and what won't? I always disliked that...there were a few dumb class I ended up having to take again, sigh, because my new university didn't like the classes from the previous college. Blech.
Wow, July 30th is a long time to wait! Holding my breath for you (LOL, maybe that's a bit too drastic?
).
15 days...not bad...very soon now!

Melanie,
In Denmark the classes are transferred to the new school. In Denmark we have an education minister who decides which topics we have to be taught in school. That means that the subjects are the same no matter which school you are attending.
Of course the subjects are different from eachother depending on the level you are on..
Just went to my oral social sience exam.. Got an A there too
YAY..
Got my written exams back, and oooooh boy I am sooooooooo dissapointed.. Only got a C in written English.. Must have made some huge mistakes for that to happen :/
Got the same grade in written danish.. :/
On the plus side = 10 days until moving
We have just gotten rid of the sand from the kids sandbox (800 kilos of it - my arms are sleeping now), and the box have been taken apart so that we are able to take it with us on the first day of the move.. We can then put it back together and get some sand for it so the boys have something to do while we move the stuff around

Line,
I'm happy to hear they can't just pick and choose the classes they want to accept, that it's standardized.
And it does make sense that the subjects are different from each other, depending on level.
Congrats on your A for Social Science!
I'm sorry about the C in written English...still, it's not a terrible grade. You do know your stuff, because you communicate very well in English. So maybe you got a bit nervous and made a mistake...completely understandable!
10 days...are you almost finished with packing? So exciting to be so close to moving!
What an ordeal with moving the sandbox! Glad you got it done, and great idea to bring it along for the kids to enjoy.
Moving is awful, but the end result is so worth it, don't you think?
Guessing you can't wait until you're moved and back to a regular routine.

Melanie,
I am so dissapointed over that C.. :/ I was nervous like hell.. Well - nothing I can do about it now.. :p
We are almost done packing.. I just need to pack a few things.. I have not started packing the boys room. I want them to have their toys for as long as possible.
However our family and friends have just said that they will not be here to help us with the move.. They are full of horrible excuses.. My boyfriends little brother even claims that we have never asked him to help.. Which of course is not true..
So I have spent my weekend trying to get some other people to help us.
It seems like I have succeded though..
The moving is horrible.. I hate moving - but as you say, the result is worth it. And I can't wait to get into our regular routines again.. Only 9 days left..
