Creating a Showcase - Page 4 - Choose Music

Now this is downright fun!

CHOOSE MUSIC

The Stitchboard Showcase lets you add soothing (or exciting) music that will play in the background, while someone watches your presentation.

This page puts you in control of the background music.  You can listen to a wide variety of 30-second music clips.  They're sorted by genre, such as classical, inspirational, etc.  Keep in mind that they're only small samples of the songs.  The final music generated will be an extended version of your selection that will exactly fit entire show.  If your show is 2 minutes 24 seconds, the music will last 2 minutes and 24 seconds.

To listen to a clip, click on the little blue triangle "play" button to the left of the song name.  You'll hear a 30-second clip.

If you start playing one and immediately decide you don't like it, simply click on another blue triangle, at which point the song that's playing will stop, and it will begin playing the newly selected song.

If you have the time and want to hear all the clips, you can click on the "Play All" link near the bottom of the page.  The system will play every song on the page.

We'll continue fine-tuning this music page, adding more songs in the more popular areas, and remove less-popular ones.

When you decide on a particular song you want to use, simply click on the "Choose This Song" button, and you'll move on to the "Enter Other Info" page.

I should also point out that if you don't want any music to play during the show, you can click on the "No Music, Please" button near the upper right corner.

If, at a later time, you return to the "Choose Music" page, your currently selected song will be highlighted in pink.
