hi, i have just made a design and from looking at it, do I start the row on the same side every time, not disimilar to mosaic overlay? its just im used to turning when making flat pied=ces so just wanted to check?

Welcome Smile, and apologies for the delay...the computer wasn't cooperating.
Can you say what technique you're trying to use? That would work with Tunisian, for instance, because you'd be doing a "return" row on the same side and then starting each row in the same spot, but if you're doing something in a simple single crochet, you would start on the opposite side for every other row.
