Do you store my bead color selections?

Hi, I noticed that when I start to run a pattern for beads it asks me if I want to select from all Delica colors or only some of them. If I were to take the time to input the several hundred colors that I have on hand, would those be saved in my profile, or would the selection be good only for that one pattern?

BTW, thanks for your time and for your awesome website! It's a dream come true!

Welcome!  Smile

You're very welcome...blushing...so glad you like our site!  Kiss

At this point in time, you can't store your colors, but we're going to be adding a premier feature for that soon.  (It's a nominal charge, probably $4.99 for a year - yes, a full year!  Smile)  What we've been doing is looking at features people have been asking for and slowly implementing them, both for the free and premier areas.  If there's something you like in the already-free area, not to worry, we won't suddenly make a free feature into a premier one.  Smile

In this case, you must be a mind reader, because we've been discussing offering this exact feature!  Smile

Hi, gabrielah7.

As Melanie pointed out, this was a planned feature and we've had several other people ask about it.  I'll move it up in priority.

Also, a new Premier feature coming will be the ability to create and save your own palettes.  You'll be able to enter your own color names and RGB values, and the program will use them just as it does now with the existing palettes.

This means you might even use the freePatternWizard in non-stitching crafts and could, for example, enter a colored pencil palette, colored paper palette, or whatever else might apply.  As time goes, the freePatternWizard will roam out of only the stitching area.  This is planned for 2016 but there are lots of stitching features to add before that.  After I add more features that allow you to clean up the output, we'll also add some new things for those who want to use the program in professional applications.

So stay tuned!

Terry
