I'm happy to say your messages were both posted! The only thing that didn't make it was your subject line, so I added one. It is indeed some kind of odd character that was stripping out your words, so now we can figure out why it's happening and prevent it from happening again. I don't remember where we were before, but in case you don't know, we did extend your subscription out another year, as our thanks for being so patient with us and this issue, and for helping us to solve it!

Your grand girls' filet crochet names sound lovely! No doubt they appreciate and cherish them. 

As for filet crochet from a photo, that is possible, but it should only be a two-color photo. Filet with more colors is possible, and we may explore that possibility in the future, but for now we've had no requests and are attempting to focus on what most people want, so it's strictly limited to two colors, one being the yarn color for the filled squares, the other being the "open" squares.
