Hi all!  Just found out about this site from a member of Crochet Helpers over on Facebook.  I would like to spend ALL my time crafting, but, alas, am too cheap to even think of a housekeeper.  I'm 57, my husband is retired (boy, is that a lifestyle change!), and we live out on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State.  We spent most of our married life in Georgia and Germany.  We have 2 grown ups, Samantha and Scott, and 4 grandchildren, who are all too far away!  Two spoiled dogs and one doted on cat!
I'm a lefty, knit to the "wrong" needle, and crochet in the wrong direction.  It usually works out fine but I have to reverse some instructions.
I like to knit, crochet, and spin.  I also sew and quilt.  I'm excited to start machine knitting on a very old Studio 303 with ribber.  That's a whole new world for me.
I've also done a lot of rug hooking with wool strips and like to play with dyes.  Excited to try your pattern wizard and meet other craft junkies!

Sue,

Welcome!  Smile  So glad you found us, and please thank whoever told you about us on our behalf!  Kiss

LOL, a housekeeper sounds great in theory...but expensive in reality.  Perhaps what is needed here is a clone.  Wink  Or, as someone I used to know once wrote, a wife!  Laughing

Washington State!  That's a place I've always wanted to visit.  I've only been as close as Oregon, long ago.  Loved Oregon, so beautiful!  And Washington sounds even lovelier.  Kiss

How exciting to have lived overseas!  Did you see a lot of Europe when you lived in Germany?

Feel free to share pictures of your work so we can all drool!  Wink
