New! Caron One Pound, Caron Simply Soft and Herrschners 2-Ply Afghan palettes - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! The Herrschner's Worsted Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! We've just added the palette for Deborah Norville Everyday Yarn! If you knit and/or crochet, this is for you. This is a beautiful yarn with a nice feel to it, a good alternative in worsted weight acrylic! (Thank you again to BetwixtTheStitch!)
New! The Red Heart Super Saver Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
Welcome to Stitchboard! Feel free to sit and stay awhile. Check out our new Premier features. In addition to the ability to create larger patterns (up to 500 stitches wide), illusion knitting and private labeling (no more worries about editing those pesky and messy PDFs), we've just introduced Filet Crochet, our most popular request! We have many more features planned, too!

Thank you yes i am working in crochet and making a word patten, i will try this now.
And a bit more progress has been made. If I keep on hammering at it, I think I can have it done hopefully in January.
Hi Liz,
Welcome, feel free to ask questions. There are some veteran crocheters here, myself included, glad to help in any way we can.

Jaboro,
Welcome!
Have you tried
a Google image search for either such a graph or an image that can
be used to make your own graph?

Secoya,
How wonderful that your
grandma got you started with cross stitching!
Buying patterns?
What patterns? (Hiding patterns in remote places, like way back in
the fridge where no one ever looks or at the very bottom of a
drawer, under all of the clothes. )
Isn't it
wonderful to have stitching for when we're supposed to be staying
home? While it can be a lot of fun to read
things online, it can get dull after a while.
So happy you found us!
I think I've
made all of the same mistakes you did when you were first
learning...and more. But once you get the hang of it,
then it becomes second nature.
Sage advice to
read instructions! Most people don't like to...and that's where the
trouble starts...
