New! Caron One Pound, Caron Simply Soft and Herrschners 2-Ply Afghan palettes - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! The Herrschner's Worsted Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! We've just added the palette for Deborah Norville Everyday Yarn! If you knit and/or crochet, this is for you. This is a beautiful yarn with a nice feel to it, a good alternative in worsted weight acrylic! (Thank you again to BetwixtTheStitch!)
New! The Red Heart Super Saver Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
Welcome to Stitchboard! Feel free to sit and stay awhile. Check out our new Premier features. In addition to the ability to create larger patterns (up to 500 stitches wide), illusion knitting and private labeling (no more worries about editing those pesky and messy PDFs), we've just introduced Filet Crochet, our most popular request! We have many more features planned, too!

Hi All,
I'm going to start to turn on some new features.
Many users have asked for a "map" to show how the pdf chart pages fit together.
This update adds this function for Crochet, Cross Stitch, Knitting, and 3 Beading stitches. I will enable brick, peyote, and right angle weave beading keys in a bit. I want to do some more testing on these three.
So now when you create a chart that's more than a single page, the final pdf page will be a "Chart Page Key". It shows your image in the background and a grid showing the pdf page numbers and how they go together.
For example:
It always adjusts the Page Key size to fit on one single page.
Each chart page has a page number in the upper right corner. These page numbers correspond to those numbers shown on the last Page Key. So no more guessing how everything fits together.
More features coming soon!
Terry
Deb,
Great, thanks for letting us know! It always helps to have an idea of who is interested in what.
Hi, all! My name is Kirsten. I have been a member for about a year now and I'm totally embarrassed, but I never took the time to say hi! Please forgive me! I am an avid cross-stitcher and I absolutely love this "Pattern Wizard". I haven't done much cross stitching lately because I am amassing a slew of patterns. I need to get off of this computer and start stitching again, but whenever I find a pic I want to transform it into a pattern. My tastes are Scandinavian cottage chic (Nissen, Uff Da, etc.). Well thanks for listening and again I'm sorry for not doing this sooner!
I am very, very new here. I have used the pattern generator on a picture of my grandbaby's feet. My intention is to make it into a needlepoint on 14 mono canvas. Unfortunately, I haven't done needlepoint in over 30 years! Additionally, I've only done painted canvas. I am confused as to how to use the pattern. Do I tape the different pages together? I am so happy I found this community!

Jessica,
LOL, nah, you can't keep
crafters under wraps!
Can't wait to
see what you're making when it's done! What is it that you're currently
working on?
I have a lot of WIPs...the good
news is I'll have to live to be well over 500 to accomplish all of
them. I am a miracle of science waiting to
happen!
