New! Caron One Pound, Caron Simply Soft and Herrschners 2-Ply Afghan palettes - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! The Herrschner's Worsted Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! We've just added the palette for Deborah Norville Everyday Yarn! If you knit and/or crochet, this is for you. This is a beautiful yarn with a nice feel to it, a good alternative in worsted weight acrylic! (Thank you again to BetwixtTheStitch!)
New! The Red Heart Super Saver Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
Welcome to Stitchboard! Feel free to sit and stay awhile. Check out our new Premier features. In addition to the ability to create larger patterns (up to 500 stitches wide), illusion knitting and private labeling (no more worries about editing those pesky and messy PDFs), we've just introduced Filet Crochet, our most popular request! We have many more features planned, too!

Hi I am new on this board.... thank you for accept. I live at the Netherlands. My hobbies are embroidery and readig... most historical stories. Last week we had an amazing weekend with a lot of spectaculair airshows. The Northern lights. For years I am searching to get a nice picture of the lights for a cross-stitchpattern. Now I found 3 of them . So happy found your website to make 1 by myself. All I have to do now is pick out 1, grab the yarn, fabric and start. Happy, greetings Thijsse
think i might have deleted my last message accidentally :/
i did find the "black and white" button
however it leaves out sooo many stitches the image is unrecognizable.
choice is either too many shades of grey and its impossible to stitch or sooo many stitches missing that its impossible to do...
it does better if i choose largest possible but that's not saying much. besides being wayy too large to actually do, yet it still misses a TON of linework...
confusing because it's a simple line drawing, actually free coloring pages from online.
wanted to stitch up a few Flintstones coloring pages i found for my grandaughter, Loves them as much as i do
the program does well with complex photos but can't handle lines?
is this just not possible?
I would love to be a bata tester for the plastic canvas paterns.
Thanks, Melanie.
I find it makes the learning curve a lot easier when I do things this way.
Hopefully, others will as well.
AHammons,
At some point I'll add the ability to override the built-in proportional output.
So you could then specify stitches across and down but there's no guarantee that an image with a circle would stitch into a circle. It might come out oval.
But this will be possible in a future update.
Terry
