New! Caron One Pound, Caron Simply Soft and Herrschners 2-Ply Afghan palettes - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! The Herrschner's Worsted Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! We've just added the palette for Deborah Norville Everyday Yarn! If you knit and/or crochet, this is for you. This is a beautiful yarn with a nice feel to it, a good alternative in worsted weight acrylic! (Thank you again to BetwixtTheStitch!)
New! The Red Heart Super Saver Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
Welcome to Stitchboard! Feel free to sit and stay awhile. Check out our new Premier features. In addition to the ability to create larger patterns (up to 500 stitches wide), illusion knitting and private labeling (no more worries about editing those pesky and messy PDFs), we've just introduced Filet Crochet, our most popular request! We have many more features planned, too!

I'm motivated on this one to finish it. My husband had a stroke last year and it makes you realize how precious time is. I'll probably just take it to Michaels to have it framed. We used to have a really good framing shop in town, but it closed a couple of years ago. So here's an updated picture...the first picture was taken about two weeks ago. I'll post it again after I get it finished.
Oh, okay...I'd misunderstood and thought this was the same as the afghan project you'd mentioned...my apologies!
I would still strongly suggest rethinking this one. Though it's not going to be used as an afghan, it will be a lot to work with 60 colors on bobbins for an entire piece, and if you're having trouble now, is it going to get easier later on? I would still say to get some kind of cotton, perhaps then a size 10 cotton in a neutral or background tone, perhaps, such as an off-white or black, crochet the entire thing in single crochet or Tunisian, make your graph to match the stitch you used and then cross stitch on it. You can still cross stitch on single crochet, and it will be far easier! I can't even imagine working 60 colors in single crochet on bobbins!
Another thing is that your piece may end up misshapen with all of the color changes. With a smaller amount of color changes, it won't be noticeable, but if you're constantly weaving in ends, it may make things wonky, especially on something so small.
RoadQueen,
What website did you use?
I'm looking for basically the same thing.

Neelam,
Welcome!
Would it be
possible to use the option in 5b, "I will choose my colors"? It
looks to me like the colors are actually the same in both sizes,
though more colors are available in 11/0. If you choose your own
colors based on what you want, you can leave out the colors that
are not available in 8/0.
Hope that
helps!

Gloshei,
You're not a dummy!
I'm not sure
what size A3 is. I'm guessing that's a UK or European
measurement?
If you can figure out how many
inches wide you want your finished piece to be, you can then figure
out how many beads per inch in your chosen bead type and multiply
that by the number of inches you would like for the finished piece.
I've tried to find a good indicator of how many beads per inch
there are, but I'm sorry to say nothing thus far has provided this
info. So what you could do is make a small
1x1 inch piece to determine how many beads to the inch and how many
rows to the inch. Then I would do a ratio of pixels to beads
(stitches) for the freePatternWizard to give your desired size. The
freePatternWizard will figure the correct length to keep your
pattern in proper proportion.
You're so
welcome...we're happy to help!
