New! Caron One Pound, Caron Simply Soft and Herrschners 2-Ply Afghan palettes - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! The Herrschner's Worsted Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! We've just added the palette for Deborah Norville Everyday Yarn! If you knit and/or crochet, this is for you. This is a beautiful yarn with a nice feel to it, a good alternative in worsted weight acrylic! (Thank you again to BetwixtTheStitch!)
New! The Red Heart Super Saver Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
Welcome to Stitchboard! Feel free to sit and stay awhile. Check out our new Premier features. In addition to the ability to create larger patterns (up to 500 stitches wide), illusion knitting and private labeling (no more worries about editing those pesky and messy PDFs), we've just introduced Filet Crochet, our most popular request! We have many more features planned, too!

1st I love this program... I'm so glad I found it... But I am trying to make a few throw blankets and a couple queen sized blankets.... Is there a way to get a larger graph? 150 stitches is an awfully small blanket...
Kathy,
Let me do some testing with the images I sent you. I hadn't tested them through the program so I'll do that. I'll let you know what I find.

It will give you a color graph, so each box is an X
stitch in the appropriate color. Don't try to do half crosses and
the like, it doesn't work as well.
I
actually have a lot of tips:
Add a few
stitches on either side as your first and last stitch are
useless.
I have done a picture tutorial on
how to cross stitch on tunisian.
In this picture I show how to go into
the stitches just under the vertical bars to hide your
tails.
Place your needle just under those
stitches, splitting the tail to lock it in place.
This shows exactly how to place your
needle, by doing it this way the back will be clean. Like this,
sometimes you'll go a bit too deep and have a tad show through, but
nobody is perfect.
If you're more of a video person, one
of my friends made a video after I taught her how, you can find it
here:

Erica,
Welcome!
You would work
the way you normally would, from one side to the other, then back
from that side to the other. The instructions are set to follow the
way you'll be crocheting.
