New! Caron One Pound, Caron Simply Soft and Herrschners 2-Ply Afghan palettes - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! The Herrschner's Worsted Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! We've just added the palette for Deborah Norville Everyday Yarn! If you knit and/or crochet, this is for you. This is a beautiful yarn with a nice feel to it, a good alternative in worsted weight acrylic! (Thank you again to BetwixtTheStitch!)
New! The Red Heart Super Saver Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
Welcome to Stitchboard! Feel free to sit and stay awhile. Check out our new Premier features. In addition to the ability to create larger patterns (up to 500 stitches wide), illusion knitting and private labeling (no more worries about editing those pesky and messy PDFs), we've just introduced Filet Crochet, our most popular request! We have many more features planned, too!

Hi I'm New to this and want to ask some questions. Please can anyone help me
Jodee,
You're welcome! Hope all goes smoothly!
Hi Annie,
I'm wondering what didn't work. Please let me know whether you're creating a chart on the screen or pdf, and what happens when you click on "Let's See My Pattern".

Hi I'm Michelle. Just became a member. Not sure how this all works. Hoping to get some pretty graph patterns.
Doris,
Welcome! So happy you've found us!
Oooh, 3 cats! LOL, not like I'm a cat lover or anything. Do you have any photos?
I haven't been to Washington itself, but I've been to Oregon and I love the gorgeous Pacific NW! Your trees are amazing!
Re: making a pattern, for something as small as a keychain you're probably best off looking for an image that's pretty simple and small...the smaller, less complex the image, the smaller of a pattern you'll be able to make (LOL, since you probably don't want to make a keychain that's 200 stitches across!). A drawn image, clip art, will likely be best in this case. There are some sites that do offer free clip art; as for whether or not it's personal use only or can be used for the purpose you're intending is determined by the individual site.
Again, welcome, and would love to see pics of your kitties!
