New! Caron One Pound, Caron Simply Soft and Herrschners 2-Ply Afghan palettes - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! The Herrschner's Worsted Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! We've just added the palette for Deborah Norville Everyday Yarn! If you knit and/or crochet, this is for you. This is a beautiful yarn with a nice feel to it, a good alternative in worsted weight acrylic! (Thank you again to BetwixtTheStitch!)
New! The Red Heart Super Saver Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
Welcome to Stitchboard! Feel free to sit and stay awhile. Check out our new Premier features. In addition to the ability to create larger patterns (up to 500 stitches wide), illusion knitting and private labeling (no more worries about editing those pesky and messy PDFs), we've just introduced Filet Crochet, our most popular request! We have many more features planned, too!

Thanks for your reply I will certainly bear that in mind.
So is this where the Wizard comes in for making a graph still slowly understanding it.
Or!! I could do it as beaded cross stitch couldn't I ?
Hello! My name is Helen and I'm new to the Stitchboard community. I used the freePatternWizard to design my graphgan pattern (numbers and words) today. Totaly amazing! Now how many chains are needed to start my project of 150 wide x 125 high single crochet? I want to make sure so that I don't start with the wrong number. Many thanks.
Pearllex,
You're so welcome!
Here are the links to the graphics programs:
* First, there's GIMP, available here: https://www.gimp.org/
* And then there's paint.net, available here: https://www.getpaint.net/
I don't know how to use them, unfortunately...I'm still using a version of Paint Shop Pro from...gulp...1998!
My name is Amber and I just joined stitchboard.com
I have been crocheting for 28 yrs, but just started my first graghgan.
I found your website when I was searching how to make graphgans. I also tred making my own pattern as well, but I have one question.
Is there any way to add directions (such as sc, ch1, sc) when you make the pattern?
Or do you just get the picture graghed and a color key?
Thank you,
Amber DuMond
