New! Caron One Pound, Caron Simply Soft and Herrschners 2-Ply Afghan palettes - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! The Herrschner's Worsted Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! We've just added the palette for Deborah Norville Everyday Yarn! If you knit and/or crochet, this is for you. This is a beautiful yarn with a nice feel to it, a good alternative in worsted weight acrylic! (Thank you again to BetwixtTheStitch!)
New! The Red Heart Super Saver Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
Welcome to Stitchboard! Feel free to sit and stay awhile. Check out our new Premier features. In addition to the ability to create larger patterns (up to 500 stitches wide), illusion knitting and private labeling (no more worries about editing those pesky and messy PDFs), we've just introduced Filet Crochet, our most popular request! We have many more features planned, too!

Oh, no, I'm so sorry, how awful!
I've handed your message off to Terry (Support), and I'm guessing he'll respond to you tomorrow. I hope he has some ideas.
This sounds like just the kind of thing that would happen to me. I've definitely lost partially-stitched patterns to floods, sigh...but those weren't my own. Still, I can relate. It's so devastating.
I just taped my pages together once I printed them out. I started out with the word pattern but quickly realized that since I wasn't using all the colors that the pattern called for that I couldn't tell by reading, what color I should change the written color to, so had to go to the graph and counting. I do like the size of the graph squares being able to see and count much better than the smaller squares I've used for crosstitch. Once taped I just fold my huge graph into manageable size and turn and fold as I go along the row. I don't have any problem with it.
Of course I am only using the 150 rows but still had to cut and tape 12 to 16 pages together. Worked find for me. I am crocheting two graphgans that I used pattern wizard for. Love it so far! Plan on doing many more!
Debbie,
Thank you for letting me know. I did fix the link above, and I'll also place it here:
https://web.archive.org/web/20110511164947/http://trendland.net/2011/05/05/inge-jacobsen-embroidered-illustration/
Check out the eye candy...IMO, it's quite interesting!
Thank goodness for the Wayback Machine!
Hi, I'm new here and have tried to make my first graph pattern. I made the image in paintshop pro and saved it as both a jpg and giff, which I've tried to use both, to make the pattern. The problem is 2 columns that are to be in white fill up and this happens with both files. The area effected is for a side boarder and the right side comes out fine but the left doesn't. Why can't I get those columns to come out right?

Nettie,
Welcome!
The question
that comes to mind here, if I'm understanding this correctly, is:
were there grid lines on the picture you put through the
freePatternWizard? If so, the software isn't set up to recognize
gridlines and remove them. If not, please tell me more about your
picture...is it a jpg or a gif or...? Is it very large or very
small and are you attempting to use the freePatternWizard to resize
it? (This is not recommended.)
