New! Caron One Pound, Caron Simply Soft and Herrschners 2-Ply Afghan palettes - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! The Herrschner's Worsted Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! We've just added the palette for Deborah Norville Everyday Yarn! If you knit and/or crochet, this is for you. This is a beautiful yarn with a nice feel to it, a good alternative in worsted weight acrylic! (Thank you again to BetwixtTheStitch!)
New! The Red Heart Super Saver Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
Welcome to Stitchboard! Feel free to sit and stay awhile. Check out our new Premier features. In addition to the ability to create larger patterns (up to 500 stitches wide), illusion knitting and private labeling (no more worries about editing those pesky and messy PDFs), we've just introduced Filet Crochet, our most popular request! We have many more features planned, too!

✨Beautiful work of art!✨
Suzieq,
Welcome!
The option definitely hasn't been removed. What do you show as your options in the pulldown for #7 where it says: "Pattern or Word Chart:"? It should say:

Tabitha,
You're very welcome!
Sherry,
Ooh, thanks...sage advice! I always struggle with the math for things like circles, but this makes it nice and simple! Hoping this helps bitgirl196264, the OP, as well!

Coralzero,
Welcome!
I'm so excited
for you starting again with your beadweaving! Bonus that your
grandmother taught you...what a lovely thing she did.
While you're
definitely not a beginner, I strongly suggest the book I learned
from: Creative Bead Weaving by Carol Wilcox Wells, because I found
the illustrations were so clear and detailed. At that time I'd
tried other books and felt they didn't have the nuances Creative
Bead Weaving had. There may be other books since then, so I'm not
saying this one is definitely the answer, but it's a very good,
handy reference - and I still use it for information about various
stitches, not just peyote.
Wells published a
newer book beyond Creative Bead Weaving, The Art & Elegance
of Beadweaving, which includes even more stitches, still with all
of the clear references that were included in Creative Bead
Weaving. LOL, okay, I'm more than a bit of a fan.
Also, there are
some wonderful choices of bead thread. I much prefer fishing line,
such as Fireline Crystal. While the colors are limited, with most
bead colors the Fireline Crystal tends to blend right in, and it
doesn't tend to break or get ragged like Nymo does. (Bonus, you can
get it from any sporting good store and even Walmart sells it!) As
for thread conditioner, that's kind of dicey; if you're okay with
beeswax, that should suffice. There's a synthetic now on the
market, Thread Magic, but it's really expensive. So the conditioner
is a difficult proposition these days.
I wish you best of luck with your project and do feel
free to post photos of your progress so we can drool!
