New! Caron One Pound, Caron Simply Soft and Herrschners 2-Ply Afghan palettes - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! The Herrschner's Worsted Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! We've just added the palette for Deborah Norville Everyday Yarn! If you knit and/or crochet, this is for you. This is a beautiful yarn with a nice feel to it, a good alternative in worsted weight acrylic! (Thank you again to BetwixtTheStitch!)
New! The Red Heart Super Saver Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
Welcome to Stitchboard! Feel free to sit and stay awhile. Check out our new Premier features. In addition to the ability to create larger patterns (up to 500 stitches wide), illusion knitting and private labeling (no more worries about editing those pesky and messy PDFs), we've just introduced Filet Crochet, our most popular request! We have many more features planned, too!

in the immortal words of emily litella....NEVERMIND!....i purchased a premier membership, scanned said chart into my computer and charted it. now i have the colors AND symbols...
Melanie,
I thought about doing a fox scarf actually.. I just wanted to make it black, grey and white... I don't know yet..
And yes, exactly like that.. :p
Caytie,
No worries - it's easy! Just go to the "patterns" tab on the menu, choose "create a pattern," choose the image you're going to use from your computer, and then since you're going to crochet it, in 5a I would change "Stitchboard Full Palette" to "Stitchboard Basic Palette." The full palette is not very useful for crocheting, as generally only basic colors are available from yarn manufacturers. The Basic palette, though, uses a minimum number of colors.
I would definitely suggest output to PDF, and then you can print it out at your convenience.

Amandy,
I'm sorry to say that at
this time word patterns are only available in the crochet
area.

I have been using your site to try to get the pics i wanted converted to crochet patterns. After many tries and a little brain work I did it. Because I needed the pattern to be 245 stiches across and 181 rows down, it took me a while to get it just right. Once I did, I then realized the patterns were in squares and when I were to start the stiching the pics would not be the same. The stiches were rectangles and not squares and the pics would then be longer than I needed. I then did the patterns in your beading section where the patterns are rectangle shaped. Now I have them right and can begin to make the blankets.
Thanks for your patience with me and for all your help. Will keep you informed of my progress.
