New! The Herrschner's Worsted Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! We've just added the palette for Deborah Norville Everyday Yarn! If you knit and/or crochet, this is for you. This is a beautiful yarn with a nice feel to it, a good alternative in worsted weight acrylic! (Thank you again to BetwixtTheStitch!)
New! The Red Heart Super Saver Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
Welcome to Stitchboard! Feel free to sit and stay awhile. Check out our new Premier features. In addition to the ability to create larger patterns (up to 500 stitches wide), illusion knitting and private labeling (no more worries about editing those pesky and messy PDFs), we've just introduced Filet Crochet, our most popular request! We have many more features planned, too!

Hi, Dena.
The current version makes sure the pattern/chart always comes out proportional so it doesn't allow setting a vertical count.
However, if you're interested, I can enable a future option for you to test that would allow this. Let me know if you'd like to do this and, if so, it will probably take a few days to set it up for you. This would allow you to enter a vertical count.
This function is included in an upcoming version of the software that I'm still debugging but I can let you give it a try if you want.

Hi
I have a list of 8 colors and symbols but on the graph there is a symbol of just a (.) in the block. Can someone explain
Thanks in advance for your help
AHammons,
At some point I'll add the ability to override the built-in proportional output.
So you could then specify stitches across and down but there's no guarantee that an image with a circle would stitch into a circle. It might come out oval.
But this will be possible in a future update.

Neave,
LOL! I know that feeling so well!
I am stuck! I uploaded my pattern into the pattern wizard and picked my option, but when I look at my graph it has random pixels even though I have pixel clean up checked. I have checked and unchecked all the options. I had a friend try it and it did the same for her, but when she made it larger (200) it was perfect! Why am I having so much problem making if smaller? I just want to start my blanket and this is frustrating me. Please help
Thanks
