New! The Herrschner's Worsted Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! We've just added the palette for Deborah Norville Everyday Yarn! If you knit and/or crochet, this is for you. This is a beautiful yarn with a nice feel to it, a good alternative in worsted weight acrylic! (Thank you again to BetwixtTheStitch!)
New! The Red Heart Super Saver Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
Welcome to Stitchboard! Feel free to sit and stay awhile. Check out our new Premier features. In addition to the ability to create larger patterns (up to 500 stitches wide), illusion knitting and private labeling (no more worries about editing those pesky and messy PDFs), we've just introduced Filet Crochet, our most popular request! We have many more features planned, too!

Cristy,
I just uploaded the new symbol set which fixes the problem.
At the same time I swapped two other symbols because I felt one could be a bit confusing.
So try again and you should no longer get a duplicate symbol!
Thanks so much for reporting the problem! We can't quite catch all the problems and bugs but I'm happy to fix things when they're reported.
Lots more updates and features still to come.
Terry
Hi there carolk69, welcome.
I think a lot of people tape them together. What I do take all the pages for the bottom rows and staple them into a booklet (much like a cross stitch pattern), then the pages for the next rows, and so on.
This way I'm working with just one booklet at a time, and it doesn't take over my space, or seem overwhelming.
Hope that helps a bit.
Hi Could I be upgraded too please? :-)
Hi Carleen,
Welcome aboard.
You can upload a picture to the pattern wizard, and after you've made your choices it will generate a graph with each square being one stitch.
The standard crochet choice is best for single crochet, while the tunisian gives you more choices to make because it is so different from standard.
Hope that is helpful, and if not, feel free to post more questions.
Melanie,
Be careful, I've been hearing that you"re in for a dangerous cold spell.
They're even expecting snow in Vegas!
Most winters are pretty dry here, though we are expecting some freezing rain tonight. I'm hoping it stays west of the metroplex, like they think, I have to get out tonight taking kids to and from work.
I really like the idea of creating a dish called "I don't know", I'll have to really think on it to come up with something everyone hates. I'd hate to do that to my poor hubby though, he never complains about anything. So he'd just eat it and I'd never know.
Astrid, we get that "heat island" effect, too. The DFW metroplex stays a bit warmer due to the amount of concrete and traffic.
