New! Caron One Pound, Caron Simply Soft and Herrschners 2-Ply Afghan palettes - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! The Herrschner's Worsted Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! We've just added the palette for Deborah Norville Everyday Yarn! If you knit and/or crochet, this is for you. This is a beautiful yarn with a nice feel to it, a good alternative in worsted weight acrylic! (Thank you again to BetwixtTheStitch!)
New! The Red Heart Super Saver Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
Welcome to Stitchboard! Feel free to sit and stay awhile. Check out our new Premier features. In addition to the ability to create larger patterns (up to 500 stitches wide), illusion knitting and private labeling (no more worries about editing those pesky and messy PDFs), we've just introduced Filet Crochet, our most popular request! We have many more features planned, too!

Hello Everone,
i want to do a pattern on wizard from a photo i have, can any one suggest a good size.
Why i asked is ive seen one or two on FB and they have found that the sizing isnt good, and the faces do not come out well.

Pokedexter,
Welcome! So glad you find our site
useful!
No worries, the artwork box is not
functional for anyone and hasn't been for a while now, so you
didn't do anything at all wrong.

Secoya,
You're so welcome!
If you can't see
it except very close, I really wouldn't worry about it. Anyone who
looks that close is rude! (As is anyone who flips your work over to
see how neat the back is. I've had that happen...it was mean!)
Anyway, when someone looks at it, they're going to see the overall
picture. They're going to see the overall effect of the piece.
They won't care that an area is lumpy
up close or a stitch is a bit wonky or whatever...LOL, they won't
even see it!
White on white cross stitch,
embroidery, anything like that is great if your eyesight is
perfect...not so good if it's not. A strong light can help, but it
certainly can't make it stand out like a dark color on white stands
out. I feel your pain!
I bet your dog is adorable stealing food!
Two projects is
a good goal, maybe put a few on indefinitely hold as if they don't
exist at all until you finish two that you choose as your goal
pieces?
Lynn,
I've responded to your
other post to let you know that I'm sending your messages along to
Terry, who does our site support.
