New! Caron One Pound, Caron Simply Soft and Herrschners 2-Ply Afghan palettes - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!

New!  The Herrschner's Worsted Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!

New!  We've just added the palette for Deborah Norville Everyday Yarn!  If you knit and/or crochet, this is for you.  This is a beautiful yarn with a nice feel to it, a good alternative in worsted weight acrylic!  (Thank you again to BetwixtTheStitch!)

New!  The Red Heart Super Saver Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!

Welcome to Stitchboard!  Feel free to sit and stay awhile.  Check out our new Premier features.  In addition to the ability to create larger patterns (up to 500 stitches wide), illusion knitting and private labeling (no more worries about editing those pesky and messy PDFs), we've just introduced Filet Crochet, our most popular request!  We have many more features planned, too!  Laughing

Chiefstick,
Welcome! Smile
Embarrassed to say I'm not sure where the free pattern sites are anymore! Embarassed I used to know of a ton of them. Now I mostly look at books and magazines for inspiration.
Medallions are fun! I especially enjoy watching something in flat, round peyote grow from a tiny circle to something amazing. Smile

Coffeenow,
Welcome! Smile Feel free to share pictures of your work, so we can drool! Wink

No Michaels unless I drive 111 miles. Even WalMart don't carry supplies here. I hate it. I like cats too just always forget everything I like. I like tigers too. I am trying to make a wishlist on Heaven and Earth Designs but there's so many I like. I only have started the one project and haven't got much done on it because of my health. There's so much smoke around me from the fires that I am having a lot of breathing problems cause I have asthma, COPD, and emphysema and high blood pressure and other health issues but the smoke is affecting these ones pretty bad. I am brand new to stitching. I don't have much supplies and that makes it tough with no stores nearby to get stuff when it's on sale sadly. I am enjoying chatting with you. Hope to hear back from you.

Aloha and welcome!  Smile

Well, shame on your friends for not believing you made the things you did!  I don't know how concerned you are with proving you did make them, but perhaps send a couple of photos - action shots of you crocheting?

LOL, a crochet intervention?  Laughing  They need to know that's simply not going to work!  Laughing

I think you're absolutely right...they're jealous.

Crocheting is very relaxing, isn't it?  It's soooooo soothing.  And then you have something tangible when done...win win!  Smile

Feel free to post pics of your work so we can drool!l  And nobody here will think your neighbors made your works!  Smile

Sherry, I know that feeling. I only got 1 person besides me to cook for, but "no idea" is also the most common answer I get... Wink

What a neat trick with the pictures! It worked with the resizing, but I don't see any possibility to add pics to a comment anymore...

At the moment, we have about minus 4 degrees Celsius, with translates to approximately 25 Fahrenheit. It can get down to minus 20, but luckily not so often in Vienna. But, of course, in the Alps! Smiley

Thank you for your feedback to the gifts! Smiley
