New! Caron One Pound, Caron Simply Soft and Herrschners 2-Ply Afghan palettes - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! The Herrschner's Worsted Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! We've just added the palette for Deborah Norville Everyday Yarn! If you knit and/or crochet, this is for you. This is a beautiful yarn with a nice feel to it, a good alternative in worsted weight acrylic! (Thank you again to BetwixtTheStitch!)
New! The Red Heart Super Saver Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
Welcome to Stitchboard! Feel free to sit and stay awhile. Check out our new Premier features. In addition to the ability to create larger patterns (up to 500 stitches wide), illusion knitting and private labeling (no more worries about editing those pesky and messy PDFs), we've just introduced Filet Crochet, our most popular request! We have many more features planned, too!

I agree. Everyone who sees my early works is just so amazed by them that they have no idea that the stitches are not facing in the same direction! People who do not do a certain type of art do not know how it works and are amazed by it, and therefore do not really notice the mistakes, even huge ones. I agree that art should keep you sane (as it does for me) than make you go insane (as it did for my brother.).
I'm a newbie and trying to learn to graph my own picture. I have crocheted (hdc) a graphghan so I know how to crochet one just dont know how to create a graph. Maybe I'm just slow but I dont understand all the settings.
I am 64, retired, crochet is my vice but I also cross stitch, and have done very little knitting. I'm a glutton for punishment (tongue in cheek) therefore I select difficult and challenging patterns.
Thanks in advance for any help you might give.
I actually signed up in 2014 but couldnt figure out what to do! LOL and honestly didnt "need" Stitchboard at the time!
I been crocheting since i was about 8 years old. My mom taught me and my Gma also crocheted so between the three of us we have over 200 years of crochet in our family!
I love to sit and crochet for hours binge watching a tv detective series on Netflix or Prime. My most favorite thing to make is my Pizza scarves and Ruffle Purses! I love to make all kinds of fun food items!
My daughter (among other things like baking and photography) is learning to make Ami's! SO yes i have the next gen in our family on her way! LOL
So happy I found this site! I have been crocheting (or as my friends and I call it "hooking" lol) for almost 3 years and wish I would of started years and years ago.
I am 46 just recently became a SAHW due to some health problems. I want to take my crocheting to a new level and do graphgans.
My husband and I have been married almost 26 years and have 3 grown kids and 4 beautiful grandbabies on earth and one in Heaven!!We live on a very touristy island in Northern MI.
I look forward to chatting with lots of you!! And learning lots...
I do have one question though..Is there a way to take a picture and delete the background before you submit it to be transferred into a pattern?
