New! Caron One Pound, Caron Simply Soft and Herrschners 2-Ply Afghan palettes - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! The Herrschner's Worsted Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! We've just added the palette for Deborah Norville Everyday Yarn! If you knit and/or crochet, this is for you. This is a beautiful yarn with a nice feel to it, a good alternative in worsted weight acrylic! (Thank you again to BetwixtTheStitch!)
New! The Red Heart Super Saver Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
Welcome to Stitchboard! Feel free to sit and stay awhile. Check out our new Premier features. In addition to the ability to create larger patterns (up to 500 stitches wide), illusion knitting and private labeling (no more worries about editing those pesky and messy PDFs), we've just introduced Filet Crochet, our most popular request! We have many more features planned, too!

I recently started crocheting and I have been asked if I can make a 60"X80" blanket. THe customer wants there to be a 5 point star in the middle and edging around the blanket. I am confident I will be able to do this... I just need help on the best way to get the star in the middle...
Anything helps, Thank you
Hi, I have just joined your page & I have been loom knitting for about a year. I am interested in learning how to apply an idea or image to make a pattern. Any tips or ideas are welcome. Not sure where to start. Dee :-)
Thanks!
Hi.
We've never discussed this option but I like the idea.
We'll discuss it and I'll probably add it to my list of features to implement.
Actually this would be pretty easy to add to the upcoming version of the program.
As Melanie stated, a temporary work-around would be to use an external graphics program to combine images.
Thanks for the idea.
Terry
In my beta-tester post, I put up a free bonus offer for anyone who could find the mistake in one of the patterns in my store at http://stitchemknot.com/store The prize is for any pattern in the store of your choosing. I should be adding more patterns before the end of the week, so you may want to check it periodically.
Please note this bonus is open to everyone; you do not have to be a beta tester or proof reader.
I have now fixed the pattern, however, I will not replace it until the end of this month, February 29, 2016. I will put up the corrected pattern March 1, 2016.
I will post here, and in the beta-tester thread should someone win this free bonus.
Should anyone purchase the pattern that is in error, I will send them the corrected one.
Thank you for your time!
