New! Caron One Pound, Caron Simply Soft and Herrschners 2-Ply Afghan palettes - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! The Herrschner's Worsted Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! We've just added the palette for Deborah Norville Everyday Yarn! If you knit and/or crochet, this is for you. This is a beautiful yarn with a nice feel to it, a good alternative in worsted weight acrylic! (Thank you again to BetwixtTheStitch!)
New! The Red Heart Super Saver Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
Welcome to Stitchboard! Feel free to sit and stay awhile. Check out our new Premier features. In addition to the ability to create larger patterns (up to 500 stitches wide), illusion knitting and private labeling (no more worries about editing those pesky and messy PDFs), we've just introduced Filet Crochet, our most popular request! We have many more features planned, too!

I want to make a graph showing just the people in the foreground, how do I omit the background?
Thanks to anyone who can help me!
it's the same here as well they work for next to nothing and they have to tolerate so much abuse it's wrong
i bake every weekend with shay's kids we've even covered nicky from head to foot in floor one weekend because he tried nabbing a cookie the kids had made so we had a flour war with him
Sheri,
Welcome!
Graphghans can be a lot of fun!
I'm not sure I understand about written instructions. If you're talking about word patterns, we do offer those for crochet patterns.
My suggestion, though, would be to start with something small. I know, it's a pain, because I personally always think about jumping right in, but I still strongly suggest starting small with things like graphghans, and (with what used to be my nemesis) bead crochet. For instance, I was determined to start bead crochet with a bangle bracelet, but the bead crochet made sure I understood in no uncertain terms that a bracelet was not in the cards until I started with big old pony beads. That was where I learned the tension and how to hold those beads!
Anyway, happy hooking right back to you...and feel free to post photos of any of your work so we can all drool!

Tanya,
Welcome!
Australia...love it!
No worries, I
also have Windows woes, so I can completely empathize. Hope you can
sort out the issues soon. Windows can be totally
frustrating!
