New! Caron One Pound, Caron Simply Soft and Herrschners 2-Ply Afghan palettes - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!

New!  The Herrschner's Worsted Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!

New!  We've just added the palette for Deborah Norville Everyday Yarn!  If you knit and/or crochet, this is for you.  This is a beautiful yarn with a nice feel to it, a good alternative in worsted weight acrylic!  (Thank you again to BetwixtTheStitch!)

New!  The Red Heart Super Saver Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!

Welcome to Stitchboard!  Feel free to sit and stay awhile.  Check out our new Premier features.  In addition to the ability to create larger patterns (up to 500 stitches wide), illusion knitting and private labeling (no more worries about editing those pesky and messy PDFs), we've just introduced Filet Crochet, our most popular request!  We have many more features planned, too!  Laughing

Thank you!

Helen,

No worries, I answered this in the other topic...you're just going to treat this as any other standard single crochet pattern, if that's the stitch you chose (we call it Standard because in the UK it's called a double crochet - how is that for confusing? LOL). So you'd chain 151 to give yourself the one extra chain for turning to start your new row.

Thank you, thank you Melanie.

I am pretty day-um proud of this one. Laughing

Welcome!  Smile

Melanie,

They are very sweet with each other.. Cheesy Jamie and Marcus practically grev up together.. She was only 2 when Marcus was born, so she was still just a pup.. A big pup, but still.. Jamie matured like a premature born baby.. She was 8 months behind because of her previous ignoranus owners.. :/ Poor girl..
But anyhow, Marcus used her as a stuffed toy.. From the very moment he could move by him self, he would always go to her.. If he was laying on his blankets on the floor she would lie besides him.. If we went for a walk, and I walked away from the pram, she would guard it when I went into a store (only small stores where I could still see them though).
When Marcus was sick, Jamie would lide beside his bed looking after him and comforting him..

They are still inseperable.. It's beautifull to watch..

When I walk Jamie she will pull on the leash as if to say: "Come oooooom mom you slowpoke.. Get moving, I have someting I NEED to get to.. NOW"..
But if Marcus is on the other end of the leash, she will walk very slow and careful. She will stop at any road and watch for cars before moving again..
It is different with Silver.. She is a bit retarded (LOOOOL).. She doesn't know anything.. She's Jon Snow.. LOL.. She's not that old yet though.. But she always kisses my youngest goodnight when we put him to bed at night.. It's almost like the dogs have chosen the kids.. one for each..

Yikes barbie dolls.. It's not any better.. LOL :p
I have actually never played with them.. Not even as a little girl.. I know that I had a LOT of them, because I always wanted them for my birthday, and for christmas and so.. Bu as soon as I got them, they went into the box under the bed, and never saw the light of day again :p

I also have this beautiful doll pram.. A SilverCross Oberon.. I have never used it for dolls. I have, however, used it to take my grandmothers cat for a walk.. He would lie in it, looking out.. But he would never run away.. :p He was a very generous and forgiving cat.. LOL
Anyhow.. Here it is.. I have this exact model.. Mine is just 20 years old now.. :p

I wonder if, for beading projects, it would be cheaper to go into a store selling fishing equipment and buy the string instead of buying it from a craft store..
And I wonder if it is better quality.. Hmm.. Only one way to find out.. :p Need to go to the fishing equipment store later.. Cheesy Luckily we have one here in the city.. We have almost everything.. :p
