New! Caron One Pound, Caron Simply Soft and Herrschners 2-Ply Afghan palettes - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! The Herrschner's Worsted Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! We've just added the palette for Deborah Norville Everyday Yarn! If you knit and/or crochet, this is for you. This is a beautiful yarn with a nice feel to it, a good alternative in worsted weight acrylic! (Thank you again to BetwixtTheStitch!)
New! The Red Heart Super Saver Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
Welcome to Stitchboard! Feel free to sit and stay awhile. Check out our new Premier features. In addition to the ability to create larger patterns (up to 500 stitches wide), illusion knitting and private labeling (no more worries about editing those pesky and messy PDFs), we've just introduced Filet Crochet, our most popular request! We have many more features planned, too!

If you guys could add an option that would allow us to not have the extra rows added (I understand that it's done because most people's SC is flat instead of squares), that would be AWESOME!!!
This is my latest project, this block is the Green Lantern emblem.
Of course this one is Wonder Woman.
I have 2 more blocks to go for this piece, Flash and Green Arrow. I'm working it in tunisian knit with Caron One Pound acrylic yarn.
The Free Bonus offer has expired. The pattern in question has been corrected and reposted. Thanks!
Debbie,
Oh, no, I hear you about the migraines! I get terrible ones. Hope yours are over soon.
Dishcloth or afghan sounds wonderful. Also, there still are people who do prefer the larger dishcloths...though I'm not sure why, as they're just so unweildy, IMO. The mass-produced ones from the stores are the same way. Guessing they run anywhere from 8 or 9 inches on up!
The nice thing about crocheted dishcloths is how they're thicker than the cloth dishcloths that are sold in the stores. So that's one reason I feel like large is just a waste of dishcloth, since there's so much real estate that's not used. Maybe I'm different, but I generally use only an area for scrubbing where my hand is, not 9 or so inches across!
Hoping you'll be rid of those migraines by the next time you post.

Kristy,
Vampires are hot! I love fantasy and sci-fi...my favorite
genres!
Can't wait to see what you're
making...if you have pics of any finished works you'd like to post,
please do, so we can all drool! Cross stitch is so wonderfully
versatile, from big projects to small...there's a never-ending
variety. And what makes it fun to see what people have
made.
I've actually thought of taking some
of my cross stitch and printing it onto iron-on material. Years
ago, before that was so easy, I went to a copy place and got many
photocopies of my work to put up on the walls at the office. LOL,
it looked just like the real thing, so much, one of the pieces had
a stray thread on it that I was always trying to brush away.
I love the idea of wearing my work, but
not enough to wear the actual items (because you KNOW that's where
any stains will land, of course!).
So happy
you're here!
