New! Caron One Pound, Caron Simply Soft and Herrschners 2-Ply Afghan palettes - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! The Herrschner's Worsted Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! We've just added the palette for Deborah Norville Everyday Yarn! If you knit and/or crochet, this is for you. This is a beautiful yarn with a nice feel to it, a good alternative in worsted weight acrylic! (Thank you again to BetwixtTheStitch!)
New! The Red Heart Super Saver Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
Welcome to Stitchboard! Feel free to sit and stay awhile. Check out our new Premier features. In addition to the ability to create larger patterns (up to 500 stitches wide), illusion knitting and private labeling (no more worries about editing those pesky and messy PDFs), we've just introduced Filet Crochet, our most popular request! We have many more features planned, too!

Hi, and welcome!
Could you please let me know the version of Kindle you're using. Many earlier Kindles were not manufactured to be used as a computer and don't have browsers with more modern downloading capabilities.
If you can let me know your Kindle model, I'll look into its capabilities and let you know more. Also please let me know if you're using the Dolphin browser and possibly its version.
Terry
Cpiper,
Welcome!
If you've made your chart with the freePatternWizard, once you choose the number of turning chains you want for your pattern, the PDF you download will contain the number of foundation chain stitches.
The foundation calculation is for the foundation chain itself, but that will also be a true amount for the entire pattern. So if your foundation chain is calculated for 50 blocks, then it will be correct for 50 blocks, including your turning chain, so you'll be able to properly work your pattern from the chart.

Secoya,
As long as you're
consistently stitching the top slants the same way, no worries!
Just make sure your right hand knows
that it needs to do things, um, left-handed. LOL.

Chris,
Welcome!
Thank you for
your suggestion! Editing tools are already in our plans, but
they're not available at this time. I don't have a specific date
when they will be.
As for the black
& white results, I've been unable to duplicate this issue,
so I've notified Terry, who does our site support, about this
issue.

I love your site and would like to ask your members if they have ever come across a pattern for tunisian entrelac crochet. I have seen the patterns on line and in books; however, I am looking for a crochet pattern tunisian entrelac that looks the same as the knitted tunisian entrelac pattern. Been searching for years with no luck. Anybody Help! Thank You
