New! Caron One Pound, Caron Simply Soft and Herrschners 2-Ply Afghan palettes - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! The Herrschner's Worsted Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! We've just added the palette for Deborah Norville Everyday Yarn! If you knit and/or crochet, this is for you. This is a beautiful yarn with a nice feel to it, a good alternative in worsted weight acrylic! (Thank you again to BetwixtTheStitch!)
New! The Red Heart Super Saver Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
Welcome to Stitchboard! Feel free to sit and stay awhile. Check out our new Premier features. In addition to the ability to create larger patterns (up to 500 stitches wide), illusion knitting and private labeling (no more worries about editing those pesky and messy PDFs), we've just introduced Filet Crochet, our most popular request! We have many more features planned, too!

Welcome!
We're still looking into it...we've been dealing with other issues that have cropped up and there's another issue that's taking our attention right now. Word charts for beading are definitely near the top of our list!
The reason illusion knitting has word charts is because this is purely mathematical. Peyote, as you know, isn't. So it will require some extra attention.
Please bear with us, and sorry for the inconvenience.
Line,
I'm glad they can't make you study something else!
Wow, that's fantastic that you've heard from them and they've told you you're guaranteed for next year! It's only fair for them to advise you, rather than leaving you hanging and wondering.
I really think that's the way education should be...people paid to study, rather paying out small fortunes for it, as we do here.
Private school I can understand paying for, because that's a choice.
So does any of this postpone your plans, or will you be right on track?
Melanie,
That's one of the things I love here, shorter and milder winters. I can remember one year, up in your area, when we had a blizzard on Mother's day, ack!
We are expecting freezing rain tonight, but my son doesn't work so I won't have to go out. The ground temps are still above freezing, so it won't stay.
We have the boys to help (son and grandson), and they'll try to do anything we ask. Try being the key word, we have to know everything and walk them through it.

Terri,
Welcome!
There is a
tutorial on how to fit more stitches on a page. It's not
recommended to use a single page, as the pattern might print out
much too small, but of course you're free to
experiment.
This link shows the different
paper sizes available:
https://stitchboard.com/community/2.0/message.php?t=1326&c=23&b=199
and this one is the tutorial to change the number of
stitches (it's also linked in the above message):

I'm not sure what you're asking about having your
pattern here on Stitchboard. If you want to make a pattern with our
software, then yes, you must use Stitchboard's freePatternWizard
here. There's nothing to install, which means it's all stored by
us, not you!
What a wonderful idea to make
your aunt's quilt into a crocheted blanket!
Smokinheart and Gloshei,
So sorry
for the late reply, Smokinheart, I don't recall seeing your
message!
We're planning on
creating some tutorials in the future, but I'm sorry to say we
don't have any available at this time.
