New! Caron One Pound, Caron Simply Soft and Herrschners 2-Ply Afghan palettes - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! The Herrschner's Worsted Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! We've just added the palette for Deborah Norville Everyday Yarn! If you knit and/or crochet, this is for you. This is a beautiful yarn with a nice feel to it, a good alternative in worsted weight acrylic! (Thank you again to BetwixtTheStitch!)
New! The Red Heart Super Saver Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
Welcome to Stitchboard! Feel free to sit and stay awhile. Check out our new Premier features. In addition to the ability to create larger patterns (up to 500 stitches wide), illusion knitting and private labeling (no more worries about editing those pesky and messy PDFs), we've just introduced Filet Crochet, our most popular request! We have many more features planned, too!

Hi, I am about to start a new graphghan, I would like to know how to read the instructions on how many balls of wool to buy. I dont understand the count, or the colour number.
Thank you, Sharon.
How about changing the PDF after it is generated and then selling it. Like replacing this first page or using a different font for labels? Can I still sell it?
Love this program btw!
Hi, and welcome!
I'll be creating some little videos beginning in a few weeks that will be tutorials of every feature of the program.
I know it all looks complex but you can get started with just a few clicks.
FYI, I'm in the process of correcting a bug with Peyote stitch using A4 paper size but the rest of the beading area is fine.
Let us know if you have any specific questions in the meantime and we'll try to help.

to wake the world up and see sense it will probably another presidental assination to wake the world up abit and make the ostriches that are the goverments around the world finally see some bloody sense and no i do not wish that on president obama or any other future president to come but in reality that is probably what it will take to make the politicans all over the world stop being ostriches and sticking their heads in the sand and doing absolutely nothing about the real things that matter rather than creating yet a 3rd world war

Gloshei,
Welcome! What a wonderful and interesting name
you have!
I'm sure your daughter will love
such a beautiful and thoughtful gift!
In my opinion, I
don't think one necessarily needs to be an expert beader to do a
project like this. Though it definitely does require a LOT of
patience, as it's a super long-term project!
A suggestion I have for starting something so large is
if you'll be using even count peyote, to bead a number of waste
rows before you start your project. The reason I suggest that is to
stabilize the rows so that you'll be able to work from bottom to
top very evenly. I actually do this for small projects, so it
doesn't just work for large ones. Otherwise, I find the bottom rows
of any project can look wonky and unattractive, as I'm just getting
into the correct tension for the beadwork.
Best of luck
and if you have any questions, please feel free to ask!
