Quick question
May 12, 2013 at 9:43:00 AM

While using the wizard, (I've been playing with it for 2 days)  I noticed in graphing for Peyote stitch there are no Delica numbers depicting which color goes where on the graph.

Did I do something wrong?  My photo has many shades of greys and  tryign to decipher where they go is difficult.

Also is there a way to increase the image size to down load?  It takes up half one page and the colors on the bottom. I've had to print from the screen to get a larger photo which distorts the pattern a bit.

Thanks
Bette

Bette,

So glad you've found the Free Pattern Wizard, and thank you for posting here so we can figure out what's going wrong!  Smiley

I'm having a bit of trouble understanding your first question.  Are you saying the key is a) unavailable or b) hard to read because it's in "color" only?

If the answer is b), then what you need to do is first, be sure you're logged in, and then change option #7's "Output" from "Pattern on Screen" to "Pattern in PDF Format."  That will then give you the option to have the final output appear in "Colors Only," "Symbols Only" or "Both Colors and Symbols."  (There is a technical reason why this is only available in the PDF option, not in the pattern as it appears on the screen.)

Please let me know if I've misunderstood your question or if the key is not appearing at all in your finished pattern.

As for image size, again, if I'm understanding your question correctly, depending on the size of your finished pattern, the PDF may be split into multiple pages, whereas with the "Pattern on Screen" option, you will only get a single page output.
