Neave,

Thanks!  Kiss  For the most part, she really is a happy kitty.  Except when she doesn't get her way...which isn't often.  Even then, she doesn't love it, but she pouts so cutely, it sort of defeats her purpose.  Because when she pouts, we go, "Oh, look...how cute!"  LOL, poor girl, can't even have a proper snit!  Laughing

Thank you...LOL, did I tell you when our anniversary was?  I don't remember...but then I'm lucky to remember my name!  Wink

Neave,

Thank you!  Kiss

And sigh, either I was sleep-typing or I said it wrong...sorry about that!  Embarassed

It's after another holiday.  Which I probably mentioned because I despise when it is!  And ever since, we've looked for different times to celebrate, but we haven't found a good solution.  The problem is our celebration ties together with another holiday and we want to celebrate them separately, not together, as our anniversary just gets lost.  Cry

However, your wonderful wishes are not in vain, as my best friend's anniversary is around Thanksgiving and often falls on Thanskgiving day, IIRC!  Kiss

Neave,

No worries...LOL, sometimes I can't keep my own dates straight!  Wink

Yeah, it's kind of a drag to have it the day after Christmas.  We cook a big meal and then we have the leftovers for a few days, so our anniversary gets lost in all of that.  By the time we've finished the leftovers, we're cetainly not ready for another celebration!

Anyway, by the time we have an actual wedding ceremony/reception, which we didn't have when we got married (we got married by a judge), we'll pick a new day.  I don't remember if I mentioned my friend who is going to give us that wedding ceremony and reception at her house.  Even so, it will be a very small event...LOL, very small house!  And since she's usually very busy around the holidays, it won't be the same day for sure!  Smile

Neave,

You mind reader, you!  Kiss

We talked about it, but he doesn't want that particular day, I guess because he likes the romance of the day with nothing additional.  Which isn't all bad, right?  Kiss

Whenever we do the wedding at our friend's house, that's probably the date we'll choose.  Just a guess, because whenever I discuss dates with him he waves me off or says he just doesn't like any dates I suggest...mr picky!  Undecided

The good thing is that the day we go to my friend's house, it can't interfere with holidays, because she's usually busy during most of them!

Neave,

Glad to see you're back...I thought of trying to find you with a cyber search party!  Wink  Seriously, I missed you!  Kiss  Are you okay?

Aww, I'm sorry your wedding didn't have your special touch.  Cry  It sounds like Nicky was very thoughtful, but it wasn't quite to your taste.  Cry

Neave,

Glad to hear you're okay.  Kiss  And sorry you have to cook for over 20 people, ugh!  That's awful.  Frown

Why doesn't Nicky ever want to cater the Christmas meal instead of making you do all of that work?  I think you should have a chance to spend time with your guests and to wrap presents, too.  And if he doesn't want the event catered, then why can't he help you to cook and wrap presents?  I'm not trying to start an argument for you guys, but I can see how much work that would be, and it doesn't seem right for you to have to do everything.  Cry

I hope you can have another wedding that you can plan.  Kiss  And if so, would you then think about making your dress?  I've thought about that for my wedding at my friend's house.  I can't sew very well, but I'd really enjoy making something small.  LOL, not sure if I'd be up to a whole gown.  Though I'm also thinking of a doily dress, which would allow me to make the whole thing over months, and the biggest problem would be putting it all together.  Sigh, I'm undecided.  I love the doily dresses I've seen online, but those are professionally made and look amazing...would rather not have something that looks like a 5 year old put it together!  There's a fine line between the two, wouldn't you say?  Wink

What's your anniversary date?  Smile  Sorry if you told me that one and I don't remember, as I'm terrible with dates.  Embarassed  LOL, half the time on my birthday, I don't even remember it's my birthday until someone says something about it!  Embarassed
