Hi everyone!
April 3, 2012 at 11:21:35 AM
I have been knitting for about 7 years. I have a short attention span, so tend to prefer small projects that don't take too long to complete. I have two blogs, one where I talk about general knitting, and another where I post a new stitch and video each week. Sapphires-n-Purls is my main blog, and The Weekly Stitch is where the stitches are. I also post free patterns on occasion, usually to go along with a stitch or technique I like. I also have a podcast - earlier episodes are for listening only, and newer ones are videos. I have all of my videos on YouTube, under my iknitwithcatfur channel. You can find my on facebook and twitter also. I am all over the place :0)

Hi and welcome...it's so nice to meet you!
Ha ha, what a
great
YouTube channel name...not that I love cats or anything!
And is there any other way to knit?!
A house just isn't a home without cat fur, and knitting isn't knitting without it, either!
I look forward to checking out your podcasts, particularly the videos - you've covered so many
fascinating
stitches and techniques!
I'm a stitch/technique junkie, LOL, so even if I'll never actually use a stitch or technique to make anything, I want to know how to accomplish it! Glancing through your channel, I can see
many
videos I want to watch. Wow, I could have benefited from the Converting Stitch Patterns for Round Knitting video/instructions when I was making a bunch of soap sacks...oh, was that seaming a killer! I hate seaming, trying to match up sides and making the stitches look continuous...I'd much rather knit everything in one continuous piece.
Thank you for taking the time to introduce yourself and for letting us know about your videos! I look forward to
hours
of fascination!

I'm a beading, knitting and crochet addict. If that means I'm admitting I have a problem, then I admit to nothing. Please refrain from helping me.

Will investigate your Sapphire-n-Purls, your "The Weekly Stitch" and your Youtube. Sounds fascinating.
