New! Caron One Pound, Caron Simply Soft and Herrschners 2-Ply Afghan palettes - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! The Herrschner's Worsted Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! We've just added the palette for Deborah Norville Everyday Yarn! If you knit and/or crochet, this is for you. This is a beautiful yarn with a nice feel to it, a good alternative in worsted weight acrylic! (Thank you again to BetwixtTheStitch!)
New! The Red Heart Super Saver Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
Welcome to Stitchboard! Feel free to sit and stay awhile. Check out our new Premier features. In addition to the ability to create larger patterns (up to 500 stitches wide), illusion knitting and private labeling (no more worries about editing those pesky and messy PDFs), we've just introduced Filet Crochet, our most popular request! We have many more features planned, too!

Please help, I'm trying to convert an image to illusion knitting. But I would need to knit the resulting graph from the side. Unfortunately, it always shows me knitting from the bottom. When I uploaded a straight rotated image, it stretched so that it could not be used. How should I specify the resulting chart for knitting from the side please? Thank you for your help
That is so pretty! I love the colors.
I have no problem creating a cross-stitch pattern, but cannot see how to save it. What am I missing??
Holly,
Welcome!
I've alerted Terry (Support) to your question. (He's not a crocheter, so he doesn't monitor this part of the Community.)
Offhand, I'm guessing that though you can't see them, the spots may actually be in your original. The software sees what's actually there, much more than the human eye, so if that's the case, it's not so much an error as it is something in your original image that you can't see.
However, I'm no expert on image processing, so I've let Terry know about your post.

My name is Mare and I live in Minnesota where winter is
around 9-10 months a year, so I have lots of crocheting
time!
My passion for crochet is finding new
and completely unique designs. While I am not in the least an
expert, I love finding patterns that are fun, creative and
unique.
I am trying my hand at
graphgans...yikes! But I found a lovely, gorgous Bargellow design
called the Light in the Valley that is a quilt. As I am a toddler
at quilting, I thought, hmmm..perhaps I could design and crochet
this piece.
Wish me luck on my endeavors!!
And thanks for adding me to this site! Pretty awesome
group!
All the best,
Mare
