New! Caron One Pound, Caron Simply Soft and Herrschners 2-Ply Afghan palettes - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! The Herrschner's Worsted Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! We've just added the palette for Deborah Norville Everyday Yarn! If you knit and/or crochet, this is for you. This is a beautiful yarn with a nice feel to it, a good alternative in worsted weight acrylic! (Thank you again to BetwixtTheStitch!)
New! The Red Heart Super Saver Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
Welcome to Stitchboard! Feel free to sit and stay awhile. Check out our new Premier features. In addition to the ability to create larger patterns (up to 500 stitches wide), illusion knitting and private labeling (no more worries about editing those pesky and messy PDFs), we've just introduced Filet Crochet, our most popular request! We have many more features planned, too!

Good day! My name is Anna Grafilo, and im 16 years old. Well I dont really see the point of having to introduce myself but ill be glad to share my thoughts as i start off cross stitching. I found a box full of threads.. if thats what you call it lol and its owned by my mom. IT IS A LOT and it would be such a waste if i dont try and be knowledgeable about it. Also, I think arts in embroidery is going out of style and becoming dead as I see from my generation.. so then by that, I want to make it come alive but the thing is how do i start? I want to have my own pattern but I dont know how to make one Also, I have no idea on how to read patterns, the color scheme that I saw.. idk its just alot I need one hell of a guidance.. Can someone willingly be there for me all throughout this embroidery. Email me annagrafilo17@gmail.com or leave me a message in facebook Anna Grafilo. Thank you so much!
I am new to Stitchboard.
I am in the process of designing a blanket to make for Christmas and use the app of the grid.
How do you determain how many stitches should be across for a throw and how many rows?
I actually signed up in 2014 but couldnt figure out what to do! LOL and honestly didnt "need" Stitchboard at the time!
I been crocheting since i was about 8 years old. My mom taught me and my Gma also crocheted so between the three of us we have over 200 years of crochet in our family!
I love to sit and crochet for hours binge watching a tv detective series on Netflix or Prime. My most favorite thing to make is my Pizza scarves and Ruffle Purses! I love to make all kinds of fun food items!
My daughter (among other things like baking and photography) is learning to make Ami's! SO yes i have the next gen in our family on her way! LOL
How do I get it to use only (and all) the colors I've selected? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Sk8erD,
Welcome!
I'll ask
Sherry, BetwixtTheStitch, what she specifically does, as she does a
lot of amazing things with cross stitch on
Tunisian!
IMO, as long as
your stitches are square it shouldn't technically matter if you use
the Tunisian option or cross stitch.
