New! Caron One Pound, Caron Simply Soft and Herrschners 2-Ply Afghan palettes - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! The Herrschner's Worsted Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! We've just added the palette for Deborah Norville Everyday Yarn! If you knit and/or crochet, this is for you. This is a beautiful yarn with a nice feel to it, a good alternative in worsted weight acrylic! (Thank you again to BetwixtTheStitch!)
New! The Red Heart Super Saver Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
Welcome to Stitchboard! Feel free to sit and stay awhile. Check out our new Premier features. In addition to the ability to create larger patterns (up to 500 stitches wide), illusion knitting and private labeling (no more worries about editing those pesky and messy PDFs), we've just introduced Filet Crochet, our most popular request! We have many more features planned, too!

Hello,
Thank you for checking on all of that, I do appreciate it.
I took my initial patterns to a local award winning needlecraft lady for feedback and I'd basically been creating advanced level patterns so now I'm trying to simplify my designs. So lots more learning.
Many thanks again.
Hahaha! I hate making gauge swatches, but know I will have to for the next few projects I want to make. They are so detailed, but I really want to try them.
Hi Shelly,
Welcome, will love to see your work! Acupuncture, what an interesting profession. I have read many great things about it. Sorry to hear about your sweet Kitty Riley. I used to have cats, my last one was actually my son's I got him when he was 11. She lived to be 18 1/2 yrs old and was the best cat ever. I have dogs now mainly, standard poodles, my favorite.
I work with beads, mainly Delica 11/0 seed beads in peyote and loom stitch. Also larger beads such as Super Duos sometimes. LOL I am not the world's best crocheter or knitter either.
Would love to see your wire work. That is one medium I have not tried, but do have 3 books on it when I considered trying it once.
I do understand that but I am trying to see if I can send someone the PDF documents and see if they could help me send with putting it into one of the formats and sending it so that I may get graphghan for the pictures. Is there anyone that might be able to help me with this situation.
Thank you for your quick response on this matter.
Sincerely,
Teresa M. Robare

Dawn,
Welcome!
I'm not sure
that you'd be able to size down quite that small. The key is to
resize your image first to the size of the pattern you're trying to
make. So if you wanted to make your pattern 15 beads across, you'd
adjust your image to 15 pixels across. The problem with that is
your original image may not be able to go as small as you need it
to be for such a limited size project.
Unfortunately, the freePatternWizard can't be used to
make the image smaller for you; since it's not a graphics program,
it's only going to guess at what you'd want from a larger image.
This size reduction has to be done in a graphics program before you
upload your image. If you'd like to try that and you're on a PC I
can give you links to two very powerful and free graphics programs
that will handle the task.
