New! Caron One Pound, Caron Simply Soft and Herrschners 2-Ply Afghan palettes - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! The Herrschner's Worsted Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! We've just added the palette for Deborah Norville Everyday Yarn! If you knit and/or crochet, this is for you. This is a beautiful yarn with a nice feel to it, a good alternative in worsted weight acrylic! (Thank you again to BetwixtTheStitch!)
New! The Red Heart Super Saver Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
Welcome to Stitchboard! Feel free to sit and stay awhile. Check out our new Premier features. In addition to the ability to create larger patterns (up to 500 stitches wide), illusion knitting and private labeling (no more worries about editing those pesky and messy PDFs), we've just introduced Filet Crochet, our most popular request! We have many more features planned, too!

Hi, and welcome!
Here are a couple suggestions to try.
1. Try turning on the "Anti-alias" check-box in section 8.
2. Try doing slight adjustments to brightness and contrast in section 8. You may try various combinations like set brightness to 5 or 10, or set contrast to 5 or 10, try negative 5 or 10, and see if anything makes it better.
3. You may want to try using shades of gray in section 5.
I would think that a combination of brightness and/or contrast setting changes and possibly enabling Anti-alias would be your best solution. Let me know if this helps. Otherwise I'll try to suggest something else.

Annette,
Welcome!
How cool that you're self-taught...I am, as well! It's so much fun, isn't it?
I haven't done any flat bead crochet, just tubular, as with the popular bangle bracelets. Is there anything in particular you're having trouble doing? I'm not really an expert on that, obviously, but I'll see if there's anything I can figure out to help you.
Long time no see...
Winter FINALY hit Denmark.. Siberian winter here we come..
It's very cold by now.. Temperature is not so bad, but it is very windy..
SO.. I was looking for my hat, but couldn't find it.. So had to make a new one..
http://www.hjemmet.dk/haandarbejde/Hakling/Hakl-selv-Hue-i-muslingehakling/
pattern is the one above, i have not gotten very far, but since the hat is made on hook number 6 (J) so should be fast to make..
Mine is black, and I bought a pompom made from real fur, which was more expensive than the yarn.. :p
Will post pictures when I take some

Gloshei,
If you follow the
numbers across the top you'll see that it goes across first over
the pages. So you might see (for example only) 10-50 (which is
really 1-50, just that the numbers start at 10) over the top of
your first page and 10-100 on the side, going down to the
bottom.
Then when you see the next page, it
goes across from there, so if you have a pattern that's 100x150,
following the numbers you might see 50-100 across the top on the
second page. Which will also then be 1-100 along the side, going
from top to bottom.
Then the following page,
page 3, would go from 10-50 again, but the side would read from
100-150 in this particular example. The page after that would go
from 50-100 along the top and 100-150 along the side from top to
bottom.
Esther,
Welcome!
C2C is in our
plans, but I'm sorry to say it's not available yet. We don't have a
date yet for when it will be available.
