New! Caron One Pound, Caron Simply Soft and Herrschners 2-Ply Afghan palettes - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! The Herrschner's Worsted Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! We've just added the palette for Deborah Norville Everyday Yarn! If you knit and/or crochet, this is for you. This is a beautiful yarn with a nice feel to it, a good alternative in worsted weight acrylic! (Thank you again to BetwixtTheStitch!)
New! The Red Heart Super Saver Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
Welcome to Stitchboard! Feel free to sit and stay awhile. Check out our new Premier features. In addition to the ability to create larger patterns (up to 500 stitches wide), illusion knitting and private labeling (no more worries about editing those pesky and messy PDFs), we've just introduced Filet Crochet, our most popular request! We have many more features planned, too!

i am interested in making crop tops what is the procedure on making a pattern for this? i need help???
I assumed I would be able to get written step by step instruction as with any other crochet pattern.
Hi OnyxHades! I'll alert Terry (Support) to your message. Unless I'm way off, I believe this may be an issue he's currently working on.
Teri,
Welcome! So happy you found us!
I know what you mean about graphing and counting stitches by hand. I used to do that in the days before computers did everything. It was never pretty or fun. I had one design I was making of a singer from the singer's record album, got through a few inches and realized...I did not have the energy to keep going! I never did complete the project.
Feel free to share photos of your work, even if it wasn't made with the freePatternWizard...we love to drool!

Mamaof11,
Welcome!
Goodness, it
sounds like you're going to be mighty busy.
If you've never
crocheted a graphghan before, perhaps you'd like to start with
something a bit smaller? This is what I do when trying something
new, I start smaller, then work my way up. Of course, if you're the type of
person who gets bored easily with smaller projects, by all means,
jump in!
