New! Caron One Pound, Caron Simply Soft and Herrschners 2-Ply Afghan palettes - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! The Herrschner's Worsted Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! We've just added the palette for Deborah Norville Everyday Yarn! If you knit and/or crochet, this is for you. This is a beautiful yarn with a nice feel to it, a good alternative in worsted weight acrylic! (Thank you again to BetwixtTheStitch!)
New! The Red Heart Super Saver Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
Welcome to Stitchboard! Feel free to sit and stay awhile. Check out our new Premier features. In addition to the ability to create larger patterns (up to 500 stitches wide), illusion knitting and private labeling (no more worries about editing those pesky and messy PDFs), we've just introduced Filet Crochet, our most popular request! We have many more features planned, too!

Good morning,
I recentetly charted a pattern for an owl and the pic came back amazingly clear. I'm pretty sure I used the artwork option, or so I thought. I went back in to the wizard to do a butterfly and I can't get a decent image at all. I also can't get the artwork option. Has that been removed or am I losing it? lol. Please help. Thanks.
and speaking of th u.k what a mess they've landed themselves in by voting to leave the european union
Kitti,
If you're referring to word patterns, they're not in word format...sorry, I see where that would be confusing! Word patterns (for crochet so far) are in PDF format. This means when you make a PDF and you opt for your PDF document to have either a graph and a word pattern or a word pattern by itself, your PDF will contain instructions that give your colors row by row and in what order they're to be stitched.
RGriffee,
You're welcome!

Tutts,
Welcome!
I'm sorry to
say that HDC is not recommended. The patterns are keyed to a single
crochet, which means that using a taller stitch would skew any
pattern you make. The only exception would be if your pattern is
abstract and elongating it wouldn't matter to you, but otherwise,
it's recommended that you use a SC instead.
