New! Caron One Pound, Caron Simply Soft and Herrschners 2-Ply Afghan palettes - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! The Herrschner's Worsted Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! We've just added the palette for Deborah Norville Everyday Yarn! If you knit and/or crochet, this is for you. This is a beautiful yarn with a nice feel to it, a good alternative in worsted weight acrylic! (Thank you again to BetwixtTheStitch!)
New! The Red Heart Super Saver Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
Welcome to Stitchboard! Feel free to sit and stay awhile. Check out our new Premier features. In addition to the ability to create larger patterns (up to 500 stitches wide), illusion knitting and private labeling (no more worries about editing those pesky and messy PDFs), we've just introduced Filet Crochet, our most popular request! We have many more features planned, too!

Nephtysrose,
Welcome! Wow, the Netherlands...a place I'd love to see someday!
So glad you found us and will be designing your own pieces.
I, too, love Delicas. Seed beads are great for sculptural work, but they're not as even as Delicas. Especially if you're going to do looming. I do mostly off-loom stitches and even for those the Delicas work wonderfully!
Tatting is so beautiful! I haven't mastered that one. I once learned shuttle tatting and made, gasp, one stitch! LOL.
The nice thing is tatting is very popular these days. For a while it seemed to fade out, but then it made a resurgence. It's best the old art forms keep going, rather than getting lost to time!
Feel free to share pictures of your work!
Debbie,
Oh, exactly...the "buy it now" sales are really the only way to go. No bidding war, no worries about the prices going way too high...so much better. The only problem with it is if someone doesn't want to offer it that way...or their "buy it now" price is waaaaaaaaaaaaaay higher than the item is really worth.
Would love to get the upgrade as well
Sp glad to meet another long-time crocheter!
The stripey giraffe sounds adorable! Post pics so we can drool, please!
Happy to hear you've found us via the freePatternWizard. We wanted to offer people something more than just a place to meet, especially something that would help in these times when everyone is struggling.

I am new to beading anf am progressing through making earrings and lanyards. Am First nations so like that design and anything with wolves in it. Am learning new stitches all the time and mastering what i ma learning though have taken apart many a project cause it just wasnt right.
I get my beads from bead auctions on FB and at local Fabricland store though very overly priced. But love the colors.
Glad to be part of the community of beaders.
