New! Caron One Pound, Caron Simply Soft and Herrschners 2-Ply Afghan palettes - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! The Herrschner's Worsted Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! We've just added the palette for Deborah Norville Everyday Yarn! If you knit and/or crochet, this is for you. This is a beautiful yarn with a nice feel to it, a good alternative in worsted weight acrylic! (Thank you again to BetwixtTheStitch!)
New! The Red Heart Super Saver Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
Welcome to Stitchboard! Feel free to sit and stay awhile. Check out our new Premier features. In addition to the ability to create larger patterns (up to 500 stitches wide), illusion knitting and private labeling (no more worries about editing those pesky and messy PDFs), we've just introduced Filet Crochet, our most popular request! We have many more features planned, too!

I agree. Everyone who sees my early works is just so amazed by them that they have no idea that the stitches are not facing in the same direction! People who do not do a certain type of art do not know how it works and are amazed by it, and therefore do not really notice the mistakes, even huge ones. I agree that art should keep you sane (as it does for me) than make you go insane (as it did for my brother.).
Cristy,
In looking at the actual symbol set in my font editor I see the two "£" symbols are slightly different but by the time they show in a .pdf, they look way too similar.
I'll change one and probably update a couple others.
I'll let you know when the updated symbol set is complete.

Hi Terry,
Just checking in to see if there has been any progress. I've been checking for updates on the site but haven't seen any so my guess is you are still working on things. I just received a note from my client asking about her chart & I just wanted to update her.
Thanks so much!

Hi.
Thanks for asking!
Yes, this is a change that I made recently because some users were asking about having the individual stitches removed.
I can now see it's a total user-preference issue. Some will want it one way, some the other.
I'm going to add an option in the blue "Preferences" tab on the left that will allow you to change the appearance of this image.
Actually there will probably be 3 options:
1. Show image as stitched (what you like)
2. Show image without stitch marks (what some commercial members have preferred)
3. Show original image (I'll just throw this in in case someone wants it.)
The #3 original image will be without stitch marks and the colors will be those from your original image and not those chosen from the program palette.
Anyway, please give me a day or two and I'll add this option. I'll post again when it's done.
Terry
Long time no see...
Winter FINALY hit Denmark.. Siberian winter here we come..
It's very cold by now.. Temperature is not so bad, but it is very windy..
SO.. I was looking for my hat, but couldn't find it.. So had to make a new one..
http://www.hjemmet.dk/haandarbejde/Hakling/Hakl-selv-Hue-i-muslingehakling/
pattern is the one above, i have not gotten very far, but since the hat is made on hook number 6 (J) so should be fast to make..
Mine is black, and I bought a pompom made from real fur, which was more expensive than the yarn.. :p
Will post pictures when I take some
