New! Caron One Pound, Caron Simply Soft and Herrschners 2-Ply Afghan palettes - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! The Herrschner's Worsted Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! We've just added the palette for Deborah Norville Everyday Yarn! If you knit and/or crochet, this is for you. This is a beautiful yarn with a nice feel to it, a good alternative in worsted weight acrylic! (Thank you again to BetwixtTheStitch!)
New! The Red Heart Super Saver Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
Welcome to Stitchboard! Feel free to sit and stay awhile. Check out our new Premier features. In addition to the ability to create larger patterns (up to 500 stitches wide), illusion knitting and private labeling (no more worries about editing those pesky and messy PDFs), we've just introduced Filet Crochet, our most popular request! We have many more features planned, too!

Dean,
Welcome!
If you're creating a graph from an image using the freePatternWizard, you can opt to make your pattern as a written pattern, rather than a graph only.
If you're talking about an already-made graph, I'm sorry to say the freePatternWizard can only work from images, not from already-created graphs.
Debbie,
Thank you for letting me know. I did fix the link above, and I'll also place it here:

Check out the eye candy...IMO, it's quite interesting!
Thank goodness for the Wayback Machine!
Melanie,
Exactly... Nature walks for the win...
I can't walt 3,7 miles due to my stupi pelvic instability from my 2 pregnancies.. :/
It still hurts like hell, so I'll have to manage with shorter walks.. Glad we have a car even though I can't drive it.. But the boyfriend can, and he gladly drives me around no matter where I have to go..
I can relate to the 'okay' but not dream home..
Maybe some day when you sell the house you live in now, you wiull be able to find exactly what you are looking for.. Crossing fingers here, even though it's not happening right away
Hi everyone!!!!
I've been trying to find the perfect throw for a wedding gift for my stepson and soon to be step daughter in law.
AND I stumbled upon this awesome site. Now ALL I have to do is figure out how to use the create a pattern. If anyone could help me it would be great.
- I think I'd like to make a crocheted throw with something like this
example:
THE Smith's
(date underneath)
How do you make a pic to add to the create a pattern?
- What stitches are best to use?
- Can I make the throw a certain size?
Thanks in advance! Glad to be here
I posted at least ten* FREE soap making books for Kindle for today...grab them before they're gone! (Note: you do not need to have an actual Kindle. If you have a smartphone, you can download a Kindle reader app for FREE...if all you have is a PC, you can download to your PC...and I believe there may also be a way now of completely bypassing any kind of reader app to read directly online - though please don't quote me on that, as I'm not sure. I find the PC reader to be quite decent for pattern content...since I don't own a Kindle, I can't say how well it works...but I would think a smaller screen would make patterns kind of difficult to read.)
Here's the circle (you must join to see posts):
/circles/pg/groups/36435/crafty-bookworms/
* I say at least ten because some of them are two and three book bundles...so there are (guessing) sixteen, seventeen, mabye more than that!
