New! Caron One Pound, Caron Simply Soft and Herrschners 2-Ply Afghan palettes - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! The Herrschner's Worsted Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! We've just added the palette for Deborah Norville Everyday Yarn! If you knit and/or crochet, this is for you. This is a beautiful yarn with a nice feel to it, a good alternative in worsted weight acrylic! (Thank you again to BetwixtTheStitch!)
New! The Red Heart Super Saver Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
Welcome to Stitchboard! Feel free to sit and stay awhile. Check out our new Premier features. In addition to the ability to create larger patterns (up to 500 stitches wide), illusion knitting and private labeling (no more worries about editing those pesky and messy PDFs), we've just introduced Filet Crochet, our most popular request! We have many more features planned, too!

I have a problem to get white colour in to the pattern even though the image contain white colour. Can it be fixed?
All Good ! Found it! Thanks
I am getting this msg and not sure why
Is there some way I can send pic to you and you can explain in old lady terms what is wrong 😊

I just found this site. I've been crocheting for a few years. I would like to attempt a picture afghan in memory of my father that passed away in August. If successful, I would give it to my mother and make smaller ones for my children and grandson.
Hello, and welcome! So glad you found us!
Wow, you do everything! That's so fantastic, and I'm jealous.
I've thought of spinning cat fur, and yes, also dog fur (though I would have to get the dog fur from others). Now, practical experience I don't have, sigh, so I'm not the right person to advise you. But I've read about spinning dog/cat fur, and it can be done, though there are probably different conditions that apply to different fibers...in other words, some fibers may be too short to spin well or some may be too coarse or soft to work. But that's just a guess.
I don't see any reason not to experiment. Speaking as a cat lover, how wonderful is the idea of having something made from the yarn from your special little (or not so little) furry one? Realistically, I probably only have enough fur for the smallest of cowls, perhaps, but the very idea is wonderful! (LOL, and I'm not sure if I'd enjoy spinning, either...though at some point, I'll just suck it up and deal, because I want to make something fun! )
Hope that helps...I'm sorry I have no level of expertise, but I'm loving the idea of you being able to make something from your dog's lovely, soft fur!
