New! Caron One Pound, Caron Simply Soft and Herrschners 2-Ply Afghan palettes - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! The Herrschner's Worsted Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! We've just added the palette for Deborah Norville Everyday Yarn! If you knit and/or crochet, this is for you. This is a beautiful yarn with a nice feel to it, a good alternative in worsted weight acrylic! (Thank you again to BetwixtTheStitch!)
New! The Red Heart Super Saver Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
Welcome to Stitchboard! Feel free to sit and stay awhile. Check out our new Premier features. In addition to the ability to create larger patterns (up to 500 stitches wide), illusion knitting and private labeling (no more worries about editing those pesky and messy PDFs), we've just introduced Filet Crochet, our most popular request! We have many more features planned, too!

Welcome!
While I'm sorry to say we don't have live editing available at this time, it's something we've been working on and hope to have available in the near future. Meanwhile, about the color issue, this is a known problem. Terry (Support) has been away from the site, working on another project for a few weeks, and will be returning to the color issue shortly, which I believe is close to being fixed.
I've alerted Terry to your message so he can get back to you, as well.
Cute pic, BTW!
mebeadliza,
Welcome!
We don't have a beadtool format available; beadtool is a completely different program, so we aren't likely to work with it, as we don't have access to their code.
What we can offer are PDF files and eventually, we'll have editing capabilities available.
Debbie,
Thanks very much for your comments. I'm having a lot of fun building this software package!
I'm about to open up Filet Crochet (hopefully later today) and another update to the private label pdf feature.
We're working through a feature list that we've been re-prioritizing on a regular basis. And while I'm adding features and fixing problems that I see, I'm also working on a total rewrite that will give a much more interactive experience. Not sure when this will come live but there will be new features and updates continuously.
Thanks again.
Terry
Debbie,
I'm looking forward to seeing what people create, as well!
I'll get the link for that tutorial. I want to warn the designer first, which is why I'm not adding it here (and I do have to find it again, anyway). So if I forget, please remind me! Her technique is soooooooo much better than working tiny with those w&ts, and next time I encounter short rows on anything, I'll probably use the same technique!
That's how I taught a crochet class years ago with one left-handed person in it...she just watched and reversed it all herself. I can't say it worked out badly...but I felt so terrible for her, until she said she could just watch what I was doing and reverse it all. It must be so hard to work that way, though. Technology was nowhere at the time, so there wasn't even a YouTube or anything! It was all about teaching people individually, and that was it.

DMoss,
Welcome!
I understand
what you're talking about, because yes, the white background
symbols are a pain when you obviously don't want to stitch them!
I'm sorry to say at this point, no, there isn't a way of removing
them.
Welcome!
